We will be rolling out a series of incentivized tasks to cover each of these categories in the different phases of the testnet. In this Testnet 2.0 period, we will mainly be focusing on the Layer 1 Network and NFT Marketplace Testnet.
OBJECTIVE
The goal is to increase the validator nodes and marketplace community participation by putting up bounties relating to particular testnet tasks.
The rules of the game are categorised into several fields.
INCENTIVISED CATEGORIES
Validators
By participating in the chain-related tasks, contributors will receive stake delegation.
Marketplace/Other
By participating in the marketplace or other non-validator-related tasks, contributors will receive NFT badges in the Testnet EVM NFT Marketplace.
Please note: Both the official delegated token amount and NFT badges are the important defining factors of this phase of the Testnet Incentive Program
TESTNET 2.0 LAYER 1 NTETWORK
Cosmos technology is notably mature after the four years of development following the Cosmos Hub and IRIS Hub launch. Uptick Network uses Cosmos SDK and its underlying Tendermint consensus engine. We believe its base is stable and there is no need to focus too deeply on its consensus engine and stress tests.
In this Testnet 2.0 phase, we will mainly focus on fine-tuning the tools and utilities surrounding it, to ensure it can simulate the mainnet with business-grade quality.
We hope that participants can really try to challenge the Testnet 2.0 performance, capacity and security. Our purpose is not to just keep it running in an average way. We absolutely want you to try and make it collapse and malfunction by finding its weaknesses and issues.
TESTNET 2.0 NFT MARKETPLACE
The test marketplace on top of Testnet 2.0 is an EVM-based NFT marketplace. We welcome everyone to test out its functionality and usability, and also to test out its performance and capacity, and even security holes.
Following the same notion as the Testnet Layer 1 test, we want you to be able to not only use it as you normally would but also try to crash it in any way you can and discover potential weaknesses and flaws. This is the purpose of having the testnet period.
When we head to mainnet launch, this marketplace will be an important component of the overall ecosystem, and rigorous testing such as this should result in a robust and smooth rollout.
REWARDS
After the Testnet Incentive Program has concluded, we will invite the winning validators and participants to join the genesis mainnet launch. A certain amount of mainnet tokens will be allocated to the winning groups.
Regardless of whether you are invited to become a genesis validator; if you participate (and qualify) you will be whitelisted into the Testnet Incentive Program and can expect an airdrop. Together with the whitelisted participants from the Testnet 1.0 Incentive Program.
Other than the group-based reward allocation, the top 3 overall best performers (3 for the Validator category and 3 for the Non-Validator category) will also receive a bonus prize.
The bonus prize will be in a fixed USDT amount, totalling 3500 USDT:

2nd) 500 USDT
3rd) 250 USDT
Please note that all winners are required to complete KYC. This is required for tax purposes in some regions and to mitigate spoof accounts. The mechanics of the KYC will be announced later, prior to the reward distribution
